Kaizen reaffirms its environmental commitment with the Chacachacare Beach Cleanup

Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited held its annual beach cleanup, this time on Chacachacare Island, an iconic location in northwest Trinidad that, despite its natural beauty, is constantly impacted by debris.

With the voluntary participation of our team, the event featured a day of unity, effort, and commitment to the environment. The activity allowed for the collection and classification of a significant amount of waste that was affecting both the island’s marine fauna and terrestrial ecosystems.

Every kilogram removed represents a step toward a cleaner ocean, safer beaches, and a more sustainable future.

This initiative is a reminder that small collective actions can have a big impact. At Kaizen, we believe that sustainability is built on actions, and we are proud to actively contribute to the preservation of the natural spaces that are part of our identity and wealth as a nation.

With every bag of waste collected, we contribute to the preservation of our oceans and the protection of marine life that depends on them.

At Kaizen, we reaffirm our commitment to conservation and sustainability, reminding everyone that caring for our coasts means caring for our future.

We collected:

Plastic waste – 160kg or 352.7lbs
General Waste – 62.5kg or 137.8lbs
Glass Waste – 121kg or 266.8lbs

Total Waste – 343.5kg or 757.3lbs
