Sven SomairCorporate Manager HSE / Section Manager Assessments & RemediationMr. Somair is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering and possesses his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Process Engineering attained through the University of The West Indies. At Kaizen Environmental Services ( Trinidad) Limited he has a dual portfolio of both Section Manager – Assessments, which falls under the projects division as well as the Corporate HSE Manager. In addition to his experience in the Health Safety and Environmental field, having held the positions of Safety Officer and HSE consultant, Mr. Somair has very extensive training in Environmental Impact Assessments, Site and Risk Assessments / Consequence Analysis and has developed, implemented and analyzed numerous Environmental Monitoring Programmes.
Anja SeejoorSection Manager – Assessments & RemediationMiss Seejoor has joined Kaizen Environmental Services Ltd in the capacity of “Project Manager”. She holds a BSc degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Management with a minor in Marine Biology (First Class Honours) and is currently completing the requirements for the award of a Post Graduate degree – MSc. Coastal Zone Engineering and Management – UWI (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering). She has brought to the Company eighteen years of experience and formal training in the areas of Environmental Impact Assessments, Site Assessments, development of Health and Safety training modules, teaching/ training at the Tertiary and Industrial Levels, Quality Control / Laboratory Management, Supervisory and Management Skills, Staff Recruitment and Training. Developing environmental challenges arising during this century has prompted Kaizen to become increasingly concerned in achieving and demonstrating sound environmental performance through the protection of the land, air and water by preventing or reducing pollution. Within this context, Miss Seejoor’s core responsibility is in the documentation, implementation and maintenance of an effective system that meets the requirements of the ISO 14000 Standard. Additionally, she is responsible for identifying employee training deficiencies, creating customized training programs in Kaizen’s core applications and measuring employees’ comprehension and overall knowledge.
